I've seen the Jesus Revolution movie with Jonathan Roumie playing Lonnie Frisbee.  I have read, "Not by Might, Nor by Power" written by Lonnie and Roger Sachs, and I've looked past man's weaknesses to see what God can do with a life set aside for His use. We all must press into His calling, pressing through our shortcomings and stepping into the purpose Holy Spirit has called us to. Holy Spirit has called each of us to move into the Greatness of God manifest in our flesh to turn the world upside down by moving into a radical lifestyle. Each of us is His chosen for this season.

We see revival breaking out in many places on the earth, but the purpose of revival is to remind the Church, the one Church, who she is so she can grab hold of her true calling. Revival breaks through preconceptions so Jesus, the Truth, is clearly seen allowing us to catch the world on fire for Him and release moves in God that capture nations, pull down strongholds, and move us all forward in revealing the Kingdom of God. This can only be accomplished through Jesus, who came preaching salvation to the lost, releasing His Father's Kingdom, suffering the agony and shame of the cross. He releases His resurrection power through all who now carry His blood-covered cross daily.

Toward the end of "Not by Might, Nor by Power," Jill Austin adds a note. She writes, "Where we are broken in our hearts, in our deep humanity and sin, we must get healing so that we can move with integrity, holiness, and freedom to break open territory with radical fire, with signs, wonders, miracles, salvations and deliverances." This describes today's warriors rising above the pain and the world's call to bring the Kingdom of God. These warriors set aside the apparent cares of this life in the hope of a greater future, a future in the Kingdom.

As Karen Dunham preached recently at The Gate DC, now is the time to live a life focused on the other side of the cross. Walking in the power of what was purchased that day. Making a full display of the victory that transforms us as we live a life dedicated to His purpose, the salvation of the lost, and the birthing of a new Kingdom, the Kingdom of God.
