We Look Forward To Meeting You!
We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting.
HOW DO YOU MEET?
We gather informally on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. After greeting one another we are generally seated in a large circle around the meeting room. Worship by musicians and singers may include some spontaneous or prophetic songs and is interpersed wtih Scripture, prophesy, prayer, intercession or inspirational short messages. There may be clapping, dancing, banners or other enthusiastic espressions of praise and worship as found in the Psalms and other Scriptures. Different people may participate throughout the gathering as
1 Cor. 14:26 instructs and Holy Spirit leads. Teaching the Word may be included at anytime during the meeting. We celebrate the Lord's Table or Communion and there is almost always some form of corporate or personal ministry. We want you to be free to join in or simply enjoy His presence and the atmosphere of worship. Worship, the Word and Works of Jesus are all anticipated when we gather as The Gate.
WHERE AND WHEN?
The Gate gathers Sunday afternoons between 2:00 and 4:00 PM at The Embassy of Hope located in downtown Vero Beach at 1418 21st Street just west of 14th Avenue in the Pocahontas Building. There is street parking on on 21st 14th and 15th Avenues and a parking lot at on 15th Avenue with some public spaces allocated.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We are more concerned about you and your presence with us
than what you wear. We want to come before the Lord in ways that do not distract others so casual modest apparel is appropriate but that includes shorts and sandals normally worn on hot Florida afternoons.
WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN?
Children are welcome but parents are encouraged to bring quiet toys or materials. There is only one room at the Embassy of Hope where The Gate meets so the children will be immersed in the worship, Word and the presence of the Lord with everyone else.
