If a friend of mine came to my house, I would introduce my friend to other people who are at my place. If I never did that, would that be a friendship?

It is important how we treat Holy Spirit when He comes too. Do we know He is present? Do we talk to Him? Do we welcome Him? Do we ignore Him? If we say that He’s our Friend but we don’t want to introduce Him to our other friends, would that be a friendship?

Usually when Holy Spirit comes, we may ignore Him if we are too busy with our own agendas? If we have 10 worship songs on our list and He really comes, do we ask Holy Spirit what He wants to do then? Do we make room for Him?

What if He has specific words of knowledge for healing in the room? Do we interrupt Him and let Him know that this is not the time for healing. Doesn’t He know the program so He’s interrupting our meeting?!

When He is not welcomed, we’re shutting Him down. Do we only want Him when it is convenient? We want the jewels or gifts and a few renewal meetings, but do we want HIM?

If we welcome Him, He is going to come! What will it look like? He will start to governmentally shake the church, but He is also going to governmentally shake everything in your life too, though.

He will bring a refiner’s fire because His job is to nurture, to heal and to get the Bride ready. He is going to come and deal with the dross, deal with bitterness and deal with pain in our lives. That is His job but He is so much more than that!

The gifts are great! We like the gifts -- we want the jewelry and we want the clothes! More Holy Spirit! But then He reveals to us that we are dressed in rags, we have been beat up and we are wrapped with “barbed wire” from all of the bitterness and resentment in us. We need to get these things out of our lives so we are ready, as His Bride.

Holy Spirit loves the things of the Father and He comes with all the things of the Father. When we invite and welcome Holy Spirit, the Person, He will bring impartations and revelation because He really does want us to get revelation of who we are and where we are going.

He wants us to be madly love with the Son. His job is also to give us revelation of who Jesus is. He wants to give us the Father’s heart. The Son’s heart will give us intercession so we have a heart for lost souls to be like the Servant.

Who is the Servant? He is a Friend of the Bridegroom. Actually, He is the best Friend of the Bridegroom!  He comes and makes the Bride ready.  In Matthew, it talks about how the disciples were ones who got the Bride ready. They were friends of the Bridegroom.
